Joseph H. Hobson, Jr.
Joe Hobson graduated with his law degree from Willamette University College of Law in 1975. He is licensed to practice law in Oregon and Washington.
Joe started as an attorney in the title insurance industry in 1975. He began private practice in Keizer in 1979, where he had a real estate and business practice and helped form the City of Keizer. He acted as one of the City Attorneys for Keizer until 1995. From 1995 to 1999 he served as the General Counsel for the Oregon Farm Bureau Federation. From 1999 to 2001 he was the director of the National Center for Agricultural Law Research and Information.
Joe returned to private practice in 2001, focusing on business and property law, as well as estate planning, Wills, trusts and probate. He also has extensive experience representing farms, ranches and private, public and quasi public organizations which represent or provide services to farms and ranches. In addition, he represents clients in matters related to water law, pesticide regulations and environmental law.
